This page explains what data Zaptool does and does not collect.

The tools collect nothing

Every tool on Zaptool runs entirely in your browser. The cron expressions, permissions, and other inputs you type are processed locally on your device and are never sent to our servers. We do not run user accounts and we do not store any personal information you enter into the tools.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic — which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify individual people.

Advertising

Zaptool uses Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service, to display ads on some pages. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Zaptool's own tools do not require cookies to function. Cookies that are set come from the third-party services described above (advertising and analytics). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the tools will continue to work.

Children's privacy

Zaptool is a general-audience developer-tools site and is not directed at children under 13.
