Listings

• Listing on Zaptool is a paid processing and editorial review service. There is no free public submission.
• Standard (US$9.90, one-time) is reviewed in the normal queue, with a target review within 7–14 calendar days of payment.
• Fast Track (US$19.90, one-time) is reviewed ahead of Standard, with a target review within 2 business days of payment. Business days are Monday to Friday, Pacific Time. British Columbia statutory holidays are not currently excluded.
• Review targets are targets, not guarantees. Neither plan guarantees approval or publication, and payment never guarantees approval.
• Both plans are held to the same editorial standard and receive the same core product profile and link treatment. Fast Track buys review priority only. Payment never buys link attributes, rankings, domain rating or traffic.
• Neither plan is a subscription.
• Zaptool editors may also add a product to the directory without payment (an editorial listing). Editorial listings are labelled as added by Zaptool; the company has not submitted or paid for them.
• Products listed or submitted before paid submission began, under the earlier free Standard plan, are not charged.
• We may edit listings for accuracy and clarity, and may reject or remove products that are unlawful, deceptive, malicious, spam, or unrelated to software.
• Processing of a paid submission begins as soon as payment is confirmed (we record the start time). Because the service has then started, a paid submission is generally non-refundable.
• Payment covers processing and review, not approval: a rejection does not by itself entitle you to a refund.
• We will review a refund request where there was a duplicate charge, a technical or payment error, we are unable to provide the service you paid for, or a refund is required by applicable law.
• Review targets are targets, not guaranteed delivery times.

Directory Distribution (not currently available)

Directory Distribution ($129, one-time) is a separate service. It is not available for new orders while the directory pool is being reverified. The terms below apply only to an order placed before it was closed.

• Distribution is a submission service: we submit your approved profile to 50 curated third-party directories and track each submission.
• Third-party directory operators control review, timing and acceptance. Submission does not mean approval.
• Optional premium placement, fast-track or other fees charged by third-party directories are not included.
• We do not guarantee rankings, domain rating, backlinks, traffic, leads or revenue.
• If a directory rejects a submission or shuts down, we may substitute another suitable directory.
